Almost everyday since we moved here, my husband and I look at each other and say, “Man, I love living here in Saint George.” Our family gets to experience so many fun activities year round because we live in a place with amazing weather, landscape, and an awesome community. I wanted to depict a few of the favorite activities our family enjoys and other iconic places that bring families together in Saint George. There are limitless possibilities for outdoor recreation as well as amazing athletic facilities, beautiful historic buildings and history, education, entertainment and arts, incredible parks, pools and splash pads. There wouldn’t be enough room on a bison to depict all the things I love, but needless to say, living here is a walk in the sunshine and it brings our family closer together.

About the Artist
Victoria Denning is an artist who enjoys painting landscapes, and figures from everyday experiences and memories of childhood. She was born and raised in Layton Utah where she discovered as a young girl the love of drawing and storytelling through a combination of life and imagination. She studied art at Utah State University and Brigham Young University where she graduated with her Bachelor of Fine Art Degree with an emphasis in Drawing and Painting. Denning thrives on the problem solving involved in creating and resolving a piece of art, while being able to experiencing again the subject matter of simple moments that bring her joy in life. She loves that by documenting and creating what is uniquely important to her, everyday she walks a path of self-discovery. Denning finds joy in painting, writing, audiobooks, crafts, board games, and being with her family.
