Megan Church is the Director of University Events & Promotions in the University Marketing & Communication office. She graduated from UT with a degree in Integrated Studies emphasis in Biology and Communication. Megan has had over seven years of experience in the event industry, including some time in disaster and emergency event planning for the Southwest Utah Public Health Department.
Megan found her way back home to Utah Tech and is responsible for organizing university events on campus and promotional activities throughout the community. She is responsible for overseeing and assisting in the planning of commencement, presidential events, fundraisers, and university-sponsored events. Since starting at UT, Megan has organized over 100 events for more than a half-million people. Megan also worked with Dr. Jordon Sharp and the UMAC team in coordinating the rollout event of Utah Tech’s new athletic brand, and the distribution of 17,000 children’s books to local elementary school students.
A St. George native, Megan loves all things summer and outdoors including swimming, hiking, and most sports. She is a major movie fanatic and enjoys attending musicals. Megan wholeheartedly believes that anything can be accomplished with determination, a willingness to learn, the right team, and a Coke-Zero from Swig.
