The mural will encompass the entire west entrance to the new Trailblazer tunnel located on 400 S. The application will be open until October 15 at 5 p.m.
We would like each artist to submit a mural design with the inspiration being Dixie State University Trailblazers.
Artists must make sure that the mural will be able to stand up to outside weather, i.e., sealant, polyurethane etc., any and all styles are welcomed for submission.
If accepted, artist’s work must be complete (including weather proofing) by April 1, 2020
A paint and supplies (brushes etc.,) stipend will be provided.
A committee of Utah Tech University Faculty and Staff along with the City of St. George will select participants based on the artist’s submissions and the demonstrated strength of the artist’s concept and craftsmanship, as well as originality of the proposed mural.
